How do payouts actually work?

You keep up to 90% of what you earn. Choose on-demand (60% Normal / 70% 2-Step Rapid, no fee, request any time) or bi-weekly (80% Normal / 90% 2-Step Rapid, less a 3% processing fee). Minimum payout is $250, measured on your share after the split and before the fee, paid via Rise.

How does the evaluation work?

It depends which one you buy. 2-Step: 6% then 6%, minimum 3 trading days. 2-Step Rapid: 9% then 6%, minimum 3 trading days. 1-Step: a single 8% target, minimum 3 trading days. Is there a time limit to pass the challenge?

No — there is no time limit at all, so trade at your own pace. There is a 3-trading-day minimum per phase, which is a floor on activity rather than a deadline: a full 2-Step run needs 6 qualifying days across both phases. (A separate minimum applies before your first payout once you are funded; see the payouts answer.) We'd rather you trade well than trade fast.

What are the challenge ranks?

Each account size carries a rank on the TBM ladder: Associate ($3K), Soldier ($5K), Capo ($10K), Mad Men ($25K), Boss ($50K) and Don ($100K). The rank is your account size — bigger account, higher rank. Every Don was once a Soldier. (Not to be confused with the in-portal leaderboard tiers — Silver to Sapphire — which you earn through performance.)

What happens if I breach a drawdown limit?

A breach ends that challenge, so it's worth knowing the numbers going in. 2-Step Challenge: 3% daily, 6% max, calculated statically. 2-Step Rapid: 4% daily, 10% max, calculated as a trailing end-of-day figure during the evaluation. 1-Step: 3% daily, 6% max, calculated statically. Instant: 4% daily, 7% max, calculated as a trailing end-of-day figure — there is no evaluation stage, so that limit applies from your first trade. Once you are funded, every product uses the same method: the floor trails your highest end-of-day balance, so it rises as you profit and locks in gains you have already made. It is measured on end-of-day closing balances, not intraday equity. The funded limits are 6% on 2-Step and 1-Step and 7% on 2-Step Rapid and Instant. On Instant the floor never rises above your starting balance — once you are ahead by 7% it locks there, so your original capital can no longer be lost. Accounts opened before 30 August 2026 keep the fixed floor they were sold under. Think of it less as a tripwire and more as the edge of the field you're playing on.

How soon do I get my Pro Account?

After you clear your final phase and complete identity verification, we set up your Pro Account and send your credentials. Your challenge credentials are automatic — those are issued as soon as your payment confirms.

What can I trade?

88 symbols across six classes — forex, metals, indices, crypto, US equities and energy — on every account size, at up to 1:100 leverage. Leverage is set per instrument class (forex 1:100, metals and indices 1:30, crypto 1:2, equities and energy 1:10); the full table is on our Trading Rules page. News trading and weekend holding are allowed. No martingale, no grid trading.

Can I use Expert Advisors (EAs) or bots?

Personally-owned EAs are allowed with proof of ownership on request. Third-party or commercial EAs, high-frequency scalping bots, tick-scalping, and latency arbitrage are not allowed and will result in account termination.

Is there a consistency rule?

Accepted Answer

On 2-Step and 2-Step Rapid, no single day may account for more than 35% of your total profit at payout time. 1-Step and Instant carry no single-day consistency rule. It is measured per payout cycle, not over the lifetime of your account, and profit or loss is attributed to the day the position was closed. Where it applies it is not a violation that ends your account; if it happens, that payout is simply held until the ratio clears, then released in full.

What if I don't trade for a while?

Pro Accounts need some activity — 14 days of inactivity and the account may be closed. It's there to keep accounts active, not to rush your trading style.

When is KYC verification required?

Accepted Answer

Identity verification (KYC) is required right after you pass Step 2 — before your Pro Account and platform credentials are issued. A separate check confirms your payout destination belongs to you, done at the time of your first payout.

Can a breach affect a payout I already requested?

Accepted Answer

It depends on timing. A breach that happened before you submitted a request makes that request invalid — even if it hadn't shown up in your dashboard yet, since eligibility is based on TBM's own reconciliation of platform data, not what's displayed the moment you submit. A breach that happens after a valid request is already in doesn't affect it — that payout is still honoured.

Can I keep trading while a payout request is being processed?

Accepted Answer

You can close existing positions, but you can't open new ones. Once you submit a payout request, your account enters a pending state until it's processed or cancelled. Any new position opened in that window is voided, excluded from your P&L, and may be treated as a breach of these rules. Cancel your request and the restriction lifts immediately.

Can a withdrawal ever take my account below its starting balance?

Accepted Answer

No. Withdrawals are limited to profit above your account's initial balance — a withdrawal can never reduce your account balance below where it started.

Can I withdraw part of my profit, or only the full amount?

Accepted Answer

On 2-Step (Normal), you can withdraw a partial amount or the full eligible balance, either way subject to the $250 minimum per request. On 2-Step Rapid, distribution is full amount only — no partial withdrawals. If your 2-Step Rapid profit share is below the $250 minimum, no withdrawal can be made yet; the profit stays in the account until your share reaches $250.

What counts as a trading day?

A qualifying trading day is a day your closed-position profit or loss moves by at least 0.1% of your initial account balance. A day with no closed positions, or with movement below that threshold, doesn't count toward any minimum trading day requirement — evaluation phases or the funded first-payout gate.

What does early access mean?

It was the pre-launch reservation list — an email and password, no payment, for first access before challenges opened. Challenges are open now, so there is nothing to wait for: you can buy one today.

How do I pay?

One-time fee in USD, paid via USDT (crypto). No subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no hidden fees on your challenge fee. Payout processing fees, where applicable, are published on our pricing page.

What if I fail a challenge — can I try again?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A breach ends that attempt, not your shot at getting funded. You're welcome to restart whenever you're ready — plenty of funded traders here didn't pass on the first try.
